Came to visit my parents this weekend and my mom surprised me with a small gift. She saw Hot Wheels at the grocery store and went through them picking out ones she thought looked “interesting.” Y’all, my mom is an Oppo! *happy tears*

I guess I should’ve known since she used to drive a 1972 Cutlass Supreme. Heh.

Nope, it’s a very driver oriented light weight sportscar designed and built in Mexico DF. If all goes to plan, i will be driving one around xmas time

Right? When I saw them I was impressed that she picked out real cars, then even more impressed that she picked out some pretty awesome real cars. Heh. I’ve gone a little fan girl around her about cars I see IRL, and she’s always like “what’s that?” with a shrug of her shoulders. Little did I know she was just an Oppo in disguise. :)

My mom knew nothing about cars, but she liked them and had quite good taste in them.
